How Layer Turtle handles your orders and your data.
Layer Turtle is a brand of Tata Mahesh HUF, which operates layerturtle.com, sells the products and is the data fiduciary for the personal data described below.

Terms of sale
These terms apply to every order placed on layerturtle.com or agreed by email with Tata Mahesh HUF, trading as Layer Turtle ("we", "us").
Orders
An order is accepted when we confirm it by email. We may decline or cancel an order if an item is unavailable, a price was shown in error, or payment fails; anything already paid is refunded in full.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown at checkout and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is taken through our payment provider when you place the order. We never see or store your card or bank details.
Custom and made-to-order items
Custom prints are produced to your specification. You confirm that you have the right to have any design you send us reproduced, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights. We may refuse designs we consider unsafe or unlawful. A custom order can be cancelled free of charge until printing starts.
Safety
Our products are printed in PLA or PETG. Unless a listing says otherwise, items are not toys for children under three and may contain small parts. Printed parts are not a substitute for certified safety or load-bearing components.
Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the price paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
Shipping and returns
Shipping
Stock items are dispatched within two working days. Made-to-order and custom items show their lead time on the product page or in your quote. You receive a tracking link by email when the parcel leaves us. Shipping charges, if any, are shown at checkout before you pay.
Damaged on arrival
We refund or reprint only when an item arrives physically damaged. Tell us within seven days of delivery at [email protected] with photos of the damage and the packaging. Once we have confirmed the damage we will reprint and reship at our cost, or refund in full, whichever you prefer.
No change-of-mind returns
Every item is printed to order or in small runs, so we do not accept returns or give refunds for change of mind, wrong size or colour chosen at checkout, or normal wear. Check the listing details before you buy and ask us if anything is unclear. Custom and personalised prints cannot be returned.
Refunds
Refunds go back to the original payment method within seven working days of us approving a damage claim.
Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data Tata Mahesh HUF, trading as Layer Turtle, collects, why, and the choices you have. It is written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applies to anyone who uses this site or orders from us.
What we collect
- Order details: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and what you bought.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, the contact form or social media.
- Account details: if you create an account, your login and order history.
- Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, browser and pages visited, used to keep the site running and secure.
Payments are handled by our payment provider under their own privacy policy. We do not receive or store card numbers.
Why we use it
To take and deliver your order, answer your questions, meet tax and accounting obligations, and protect the site from abuse. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the services needed to fulfil your order: our payment provider, our shipping partners, and the email service that delivers order confirmations. Each receives only what it needs for its task.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax law requires, currently eight years in India. Messages that do not lead to an order are deleted after twelve months. Account data is kept until you ask us to close the account.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to [email protected]; we respond within thirty days.
Grievances
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, email [email protected] with "Grievance" in the subject line. Our grievance officer will acknowledge your complaint within forty-eight hours and resolve it within thirty days. If you remain unsatisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
We sell toys, but we sell them to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under eighteen.
